“How Does Perfect Sound?!!”
5 of 5 stars
My husband, who rarely has many free days for holiday getaways, was so pleased with our first visit to the Chateau , that he surprised me and said 'wanna go for Valentine's Day? I was surprised and tickled. Yes, yes , yes of course I giggled out.
We booked with Mgrs Chris and Tammy. Excited to learn Chris would be cooking Valentine dinner. All I can say is the weekend was perfect. Dinner was Devine and can you imagine, long stem red roses waiting in our suite. Too thoughtful. Perfect.
All the staff has a unique way of making you feel like you are the only couple there, When actually the Chateau is totally full We love that. The true test was my hubby saying 'let's try and squeeze another weekend soon'
Yay team!!! Perfect !!

“Beautiful oasis in the desert - way beyond expectations”
5 of 5 stars - Reviewed February 15, 2014
When we stepped through the front door we knew immediately that our stay here was going to be something special. Host/chef Chris helped us settle in, and throughout our four-day stay we were treated wonderfully by staff. I can't overstate how personable and welcoming the Chateau hospitality team was to us. We really felt more like visiting family than paying guests. The included breakfasts were fabulous, and the bistro meals were tastfully prepared hors d’oeuvres and main dishes. Chris and the culinary staff really did an outstanding job. We ate on the main terrace which has fireplaces and a wood stove where amazing flatbread pizzas are made. Our room was clean and spacious with french doors opening onto a private patio facing the lake. The decor was slightly dated, but the rooms are currently being remodelled. We had a peek at one of the newly renovated rooms, and were really impressed. The pool and hot tub are excellent and were a welcome retreat for us when we returned from our our daily desert hikes and walking tours of Palm Springs. Without the slightest hesitation, we recommend the Chateau to anyone looking for a special experience when they are visiting the Palm Springs area.

“WOW! What a hidden gem!”

I could not have been more pleased with The Chateau at Lake La Quinta, what a little hidden gem it is! My family rented out the whole place for my sisters wedding and we were treated like VIPs from the second we walked in the door, with champagne, a tour and beautiful rooms. The common areas were absolutely charming with the wine dispensers (YUM!) and the rooms were comfortable with all the amenities we needed for the weekend. Chris was such an amazing guy and so accommodating to all our family and friends. We ended up having the rehearsal dinner there with salads, flatbread pizzas (out of the pizza oven) and a bar of wine and beer. The food was absolutely delicious! Chris also made flatbread pizza's late night after the wedding when everyone came back around midnight, SO AMAZING! And then we did the brunch there the next day, I can't tell you enough how delicious everything was. The staff was incredible - they made you feel like the only person staying there and it was such a intimate and class B&B. It was such a perfect weekend and the Chateau was the perfect place for all of our family and friends to stay for a wonderful wedding weekend.
Thank you Chris and everyone else for making the weeding beyond perfect!! We can't wait to come back and stay again very soon!!

“It Really Gets Better Every Time...”
My wife and I kicked off summer by visiting Lake La Quinta Inn, this being probably our fifteenth visit over the last eight or so years. We booked two nights, May 26 & 27. With little surprise, the B&B was booked full on the first night (Sunday) before Memorial Day. Surprisingly, the following night (Memorial Day Monday) left the entire Inn to ourselves (guess it doesn't happen all that often)! What's really great about LLQ is that whether it's packed full or virtually empty, the experience is always positive whether at breakfast in the morning, lounging by the pool and jacuzzi, or nodding off to the lake's lit fountain for a great night's sleep.
This stay, we were treated to berry-covered french toast and spicy sausage links and ordered mimosas (I'm not much of a french toast fan, but Chef Omar changed my mind about that!). The final breakfast day Omar made us bacon, cheese and mushroom omelettes with canteloupe, strawberries and watermelon, and orange juice. A perfect meal with a perfect relaxing view, al fresco overlooking the lake.
We stayed in room 9, which includes a two-person jacuzzi, separate curved shower, King bed, fireplace and french doors out to a balcony overlooking the lake (as every room does!). We've stayed in this room most of our visits, but also have enjoyed the Spa Suite room 2 (downstairs, which incidentally is the first of all of the rooms to get a complete remodel and looks amazing!); room 6 (upstairs with a claw foot tub, second balcony off of the separate shower) and one of the Bungalow Suites (huge though comfy with a shuttered central spa tub, steam shower, living and dining area with over 1,000 sq ft). I would recommend any of the rooms!!
We heard from the staff that they're going through a BIG remodel this summer, and while we're sad that we can't visit in July or August during the closure, we're looking forward to enjoying it in September of this year. Funny thing is that LLQ doesn't have to change anything for us, we love it just like it is. This remodel will just be a huge bonus for us!
